will soon have an event related to ecology and sustainability of our world for TASOC and TISOC in several autonomous communities and we will inform you. For this we get you started and learn a little more certain terminologies
What is Ecology?
Ecology is a discipline of study which investigated the relationship between living organisms and their environment. It is considered a branch of biological sciences and environmental biology specifically named. Its literal meaning comes from the Greek oikos (home) and logos (study), being defined as the study of living at home.
Man has always felt superiority nature. The fire was the first technological breakthrough made man, allowed a better diet, to dominate the cold and eventually lead to the development of a sedentary lifestyle. However, the main cause was the rise of sedentary agriculture, second technological breakthrough made by the man gave him a variety of food and was the direct cause of the creation of cities. But the fire and agriculture did not have large negative impacts on the biosphere. With the Industrial Revolution of the eighteenth century man's sense of superiority and pride toward nature is empirical, the strong progress provided by advances in technology assured the man his supremacy with the environment, not realizing the negative aspects and this resulted in irreversible, with the problems concerning the study of ecology we mentioned. Identifies three:
- Considerable reduction of human beings who inhabit the means used by people
- alteration in the cycle of material for the production of non-biodegradable waste
- Change in energy flow
thus arises for the first time, a strong concern for nature and subsequently the quality of life. Jobs were created systematically, consistent assumptions and theories that spanned various aspects: economic, political and social, which is the basis of the current study of ecology.
The environment is where the man carries out all its activities, this presents the perfect conditions to take them out. It is the source of natural resources such as water, flora, fauna, air, among others. If the environment deteriorates, the man is hindered to perform their actions, not just men, also all other living beings in this regard when it comes to quality of life, as presented by the environment for the proper development of the survival of living beings on earth.
environmental deterioration increases with increasing demographics, they are more people who have to meet needs that directly affect the environment. The man is now unfolding in a civilization built without the knowledge of the laws governing the environment, and forgetting in this way, the essence of being human, hence the importance of the study and development of ecology as a study and practical knowledge that allows us to develop in harmony with the environment.
