Scanner: see the size of folders in Windows

The huge amounts of information we see and download from the Internet every day we are filling the hard drive by leaps and bounds, but, you know how those files are being distributed? With Scanner have the option to easily view, pass and check.

Scanner is one of those softwares to marvel at its simplicity and usefulness. In just have a small 165kb great application that will show a pie chart and colored the contents of our hard drives, floppy disks, pen drives, CDs, DVDs and even network storage devices.

Download and install To get it go to the 's website or click this link direct download. Obtain a compressed ZIP file (scn2.zip) which will extract the content anywhere on our computer (even on a flash drive):

giving
run the program click on " Scanner.exe " not worrying about the language and it is detected automatically. Then a small scan will see the following screen:

Simple and very educational. In this first screen we can see a summary of our respective local disks with free space information and occupied. If we move the mouse over the graph area in the information boxes will be the name and size of the section, and better yet, if you click on it will show in detail the contents of that folder.

can always level up or down using the buttons provided to us. By the way, Scanner has the following commands:

allows us to expand or reduce the size of the pie.

We will redirect the service of "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows.

allows emptying the Recycle Bin on all drives.

With this button will go up a folder level.

Go back a step backwards.

update the folder or drive that we are looking at that time.

We return to the screen with a summary of all units.

As we conclude, Scanner is an excellent little program to have on hand for those cases of extreme urgency that we were short of space and urges us to quickly view the contents of your PC.
